Diversity issues have been top-of-mind in 2020 in the entrepreneurial world. We have never seen this many networks and solutions to support diverse and underrepresented founders. Despite the efforts, it is still a complex and challenging problem to tackle. Most investors are still men and mostly white, and as we all know, privilege is mostly invisible to those who have it.
It is with great hope that, despite the pandemic, 2020 is also turning out to be the year privilege is turning out to increasingly impossible not to notice. Becoming aware of it is a decision.
Let’s make daily efforts to understand our own biases. Let’s keep educating one another. Here is our reading suggestion. If you have read something interesting on the topic, send the links our way.
